Parliament speaker offers condolence to Turkish counterpart

KUWAIT, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Saturday sent a cable of condolence to his Turkish counterpart Ismet Yilmaz over the victims of the twin bombings in Ankara earlier today, which left tens of people killed and injured.
In his cable, the speaker said: "We condemn this criminal act what took place in Ankara today and express our full solidarity with Turkey and the Turkish people in the fight against terrorism with all its forms and manifestations." Al-Ghanim reiterated the need for stepping up regional and international cooperation against the scourge of terrorism, calling for resolutely combatting mounting terrorist attacks in the region.
