(Changing dateline) KUWAIT, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah said Wednesday that Gulf tourism would witness development and growth on various trends.
The minister made the statement to KUNA upon arriving home after participating in the second meeting of GCC tourism ministers and officials that concluded a few hours ago in Doha.
Sheikh Salman, who is also Chairman of National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, affirmed that the discussion of agenda's topics prepared by the executive committee of GCC undersecretaries is a "practical vision to develop Gulf tourism industry." The minister underlined the importance of recommendations issued in the meeting in completion of the first constituent meeting hosted by Kuwait last year, saying this is a move to develop Gulf tourism.
