KUWAIT, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait oil price rose 96 cents to USD 44.16 per barrel on Tuesday compared to USD 43.20 pb on Monday, according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Wednesday.
In the world markets, oil forward deals increased by two US dollars on Tuesday amid US official reports about a global glut and forecast rise of global demand, by 270,000 barrels per day to reach 95.2 million barrels, with a 0.3 percent increase as compared to September.
Meanwhile, Brent crude price rose USD 2.67, some 5.47 percent, settling at USD 51.42 pb. Light American crude prices climbed USD 2.27, some 4.92 percent, settling at USD 48.53 pb. (end)
