Kuwaiti oil barrel drops 21 cents to USD 47.10

KUWAIT, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel declined 21 cents to USD 47.10 on Friday, compared to USD 47.31 on Thursday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.
Prices had fell in international oil markets yesterday driven by extra supplies on the market and the retreat of the US stock markets.
Brent crude contracts slipped by USD 1.07 to USD 49.61 per barrel, while the US crude oil contracts declined by 70 cents to USD 46.05 pb. (end) asj.ibi
