Saudi soldier, man killed in fire exchange E. Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- A man and a Saudi security personnel were killed during an exchange of fire as the former was chased after attempting to sneak into a security location in the eastern city of Beqaiq, the Interior Ministry said Friday.
The ministry identified the man as Nawwaf Al-Otaibi who opened fire at the security forces who spotted him while trying to sneak into a security location in Beqaiq, injuring two soldiers.
Al-Otaibi escaped to an underconstruction building and an exchange of fire broke out killing him and one of the soldiers, said the ministry, adding the killed possessed a machinegun and a magazine.
An investigation is underway to know the motives of Al-Otaibi. (end) nh.bs
