AMMAN, Sept 1 (KUNA) - Around 9 militants of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) were killed and 20 others injured in air strikes that targeted their vehicles in Raqqa, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced Thursday.
The air strikes, led by international coalition, lasted for hours, the observatory added.
In addition, the Syrian air force carried out three air strikes on Arbeen, Douma east Ghouta and Zamlaka, which led to the death of five civilians and the wounding of others. (end).
