KUNA chief visits Albania's news agency

TIRANA, July 20 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Board and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah is visiting Albania upon an invitation from the Albanian Telegraphic Agency chief Gezim Podgorica.
KUNA chief, along with diplomatic attachأ©s at that the Kuwaiti embassy Yaser Al-Bader and Faisal Al-Bakr, met on Monday a number of officials at the Albanian news agency.
During the visit, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij discussed with Albanian counterpart the joint agreements signed between the two agencies which aim at enhancing cooperation in all realms, especially in the field of photos and news exchange.
Podgorica thanked KUNA chief for accepting his invitation while Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij extended a similar invitation to his Albanian counterpart to visit KUNA.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij stressed the importance of media to provide the public with the latest developments that take place in Albania, especially that of the cancelation of tourist visa for Kuwaitis, the investment opportunities and the plans to launch a direct flight between Kuwait and Albania.
