MOSCOW, July 2 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby has expressed his confidence that Kuwait could overcome terrorism.
On the sidelines of the UN Meeting in support of Israeli-Palestinian peace, Al-Araby told KUNA in a remark Thursday that the "terrorist" attacks that targeted Kuwait, Tunisia and Egypt were committed by groups seeking to undermine stability Arab countries.
He emphasized that the plots of these groups would fail due to the determination and resolve of Arab countries.
He recalled that the Arab Foreign Ministers Council last September had made a resolution to confront terrorism in all its manifestations by security, political, ideological and economic means.
Al-Araby stressed that the "terrorist" attacks will not undermine stability and security of countries, calling for necessarily combating the scourge of terrorism and rooting it out. (end) as.hm
