4 people killed, 25 others wounded by shells in Aleppo - SOHR

AMMAN, June 20 (KUNA) -- At least four people were killed and 25 others wounded by shells fired by opposition militants on Al-Medan area in Aleppo city, a monitoring group said Saturday.
The total number of civilians who were killed by hundreds of shells by opposition militants since June 15 reached 69, including 21 children, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said, adding that the number of those injured hit 350.
Meanwhile, the Syrian regime's troops and their loyal forces have retaken important town of Sakaka in Sweida governorate after fierce clashes with opposition militnats that have controlled the town since June 9.
According to the observatory, unknown gunmen blew up a gas pipeline near the area of Tlul Al-Tafha in eastern Homs which has seen clashes between the regime's troops, backed by loyal forces, and the militants of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Also the ISIL and unknown gunmen repeatedly blew up gas pipelines in the eastern Homs countryside, the observatory added.
At least eight opposition militants were killed in fierce clashes with the regime's troops and their loyal forces, the SOHR said, pointing to confirmed information about heavy casualties in the ranks of the regime's troops and their loyal forces. (end) tk.hm
