Kuwait offers 540,000 euro to PHFS in Kosovo

KUWAIT, June 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to the Republic of Albania Najeeb Abdulrahman Al-Bader handed the Patients Helping Fund Society (PHFS) in Kosovo a total of 540,000 euro of donation pledged by the Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage (RIHS) in Kuwait.
Kuwait's Embassy in Albania said in a statement on Wednesday that the Ambassador handed the donation to Chairman of PHFS in Kosovo Islam Sakay at the embassy's headquarters in Tirana.
This donation will finance development projects for orphans, which reflects the pioneering humanitarian role Kuwait plays in various parts of the world, the diplomat affirmed.
Sakay expressed his appreciation for the Kuwaiti donation and valued the supports of RIHS, which helped to finance a number of developmental projects in the country, especially those serving the orphans and to improve their living conditions. (end) nbs.lb
