Kuwaiti juniors to take part in Asian squash tournament in Malaysia

KUWAIT, May 29 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti national squash team is leaving for Malaysia on Saturday to compete in the Asian junior squash tournament for individuals, taking place June 1-6.
The mission to the PBA 13th Penang (Malaysian) Junior Open 2015, includes 10 players and will be led by Secretary General of the Kuwaiti Squash Association Omar Al-Otaibi, coach Nasser Zahran told KUNA on Friday.
He added that five players will compete under 11, three under 13 and two under 15.
Kuwait is not taking part in the under 17 and under 19 competitions, for most of the players are having their exams these days.
Zahran noted that the Asian Junior Open 2015 offers a good chance for Kuwaiti young players to gain more experience on continental competitions. (end) fs.tab.msa
