21 people killed, 102 injured in Saudi Arabia mosque attack - Health Min.

RIYADH, May 22 (KUNA) -- Twenty-one people were killed and 102 others injured in an explosion at a mosque in eastern Saudi governorate of Al-Qatif on Friday, Health Minister Khaled Al-Faleh said in a statement.
He said the bomb attack on the mosque in the town of Al-Qediah killed 21 people and wounded 102 others, 50 of them already discharged from hospital, Al-Faleh said in a statement after visiting the injured in Al-Qatif Hospital.
The interior ministry said a suicide bomber blew up his explosive belt he was hiding under his clothes at the mosque during the Friday prayers.
The interior ministry are investigating the attack, and its spokesman said the country was determined to bring those responsible to justice. (pickup previous) yms.bs
