Pakistan stands by Saudi Arabia -- Pres. Hussain

ISLAMABAD, April 27 (KUNA) -- President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain on Monday said that Pakistan stands by Saudi Arabia and there should be no doubt in it.
While talking to Imam of Al-Masjid Al-Haram, the Saudi-based Islam holiest place of worship, Sheikh Khalid Al-Ghamidi in the federal capital Islamabad, President Mamnoon reiterated Pakistan's determination to defend territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia at all cost.
He said that people and Government of Pakistan have special sentiments for Saudi Arabia.
The visiting distinguished guest on the occasion said, "Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have deep relations and their foundations are very strong," adding that no one could harm these relations.
Al-Ghamidi expressed the confidence that Pakistan would always remain behind Saudi Arabia at all junctures. He said thousands of Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia are playing a role of bridge between the two countries.
The visit of Al-Ghamidi came just after the visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Saudi Arabia to discuss the Yemeni situation with the Saudi leadership. (end) sbk.ibi
