Four airstrikes in Syria, 11 in Iraq target ISIL - coalition

WASHINGTON, April 25 (KUNA) -- Coalition military forces continued to attack ISIL terrorists, conducting four airstrikes in Syria and 11 in Iraq, the Combined Joint Task Force announced on Saturday.
In Syria near Ain Al-Arab, or Kobane, four airstrikes struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroying four fighting positions and a boat, the statement said.
In Iraq near Fallujah, five airstrikes struck five tactical units, destroying two vehicles, two heavy machine guns, one improvised explosive device, two fighting positions, and disabled one fighting position, it said.
Near Mosul, four airstrikes destroyed three buildings, four heavy machine guns and two ISIL vehicles, the statement said.
Near Ramadi, one airstrike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed a fighting position, it said.
Near Tal Afar, one airstrike destroyed an ISIL trench, it said. (end) rm.bs
