ROME, April 24 (KUNA) -- About 30 pavilions of countries, including Kuwait, are ready for the Expo Milano 2015, which will be inaugurated on May 1 and runs until October, Chief Executive Officer of Expo Milano 2015 Giuseppe Sala announced.
Sala said that all pavilions of participating countries will be ready ahead of the inauguration ceremony.
Kuwait will participate in the expo and a delegation including Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah and Chairman of the Board and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah will attend the inauguration ceremony.
Kuwait General Consul in Milan and Northern Italy Abdulnasser Bukhadhour had said earlier that Kuwait's pavilion was ready to receive visitors.
Bukhadhour said Kuwait sought to convey a civilized image to all visitors of the six-month event, adding that Kuwait's Consulate was prepared for the reception of Kuwaiti visitors and facilitating their stay, all in coordination with local authorities. (end) mn.hm
