Al-Babtain to partake in UN cultural meeting next Tuesday

KUWAIT, April 13 (KUNA) -- Head of the Foundation of Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain's Prize for poetic creativity Abdulaziz Al-Babtain will head to New York on April 21-22 to partake in a UN cultural event.
Al-Babtain told KUNA that the UN meeting will focus on promoting the cultures of forgiveness and harmony against extremism.
He added that the meeting will be attended by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in addition to other senior UN official.
The Kuwaiti poet thanked the UN for the invitation, affirming that he was very eager to contribute to the meeting's valuable and moral goals. (end) tms.gta
