Kuwaiti Amb. heads Arab diplomats at meeting with senior French officials

By Ahmad Al-Mazyad PARIS, April 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ambassador to France Ali Al-Saeed headed Thursday a delegation of Arab diplomats at a meeting with senior officials at the French Presidential office.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Saeed said that the meeting discussed issues connected to the tentative nuclear deal with Iran, the situation in Yemen and Libya, as well as the Palestinian cause.
He said that the French side touched on the tentative agreement with Iran, stressing on the importance of overcoming differences regarding the file in the upcoming meetings.
The French officials expressed their support to the Saudi-led coalition operation in Yemen, said Al-Saeed who added that the officials hoped that situation in Yemen would be resolved soon.
Arab Ambassadors partaking in the meeting expressed, on their part, the strong role played by France in the Middle East especially when it came to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. (end) amm.gta
