KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced in a press statement on Wednesday, its April prices for liquefied gas.
The price of the metric ton of propane is set at USD 460, down by USD 40 per metric ton compared with that of March which recorded USD 500.
The price of metric ton of butane is set at USD 470, up USD 10 per metric ton, compared to USD 460 in March, it stated.
Propane and butane prices are affected by the price of crude oil, and the value of the US dollar, along with geopolitical factors and natural disasters.
The two substances are used in the petrochemical industry, cooking, heating and other areas. (end)
