Kuwaiti crude up USD 0.55 to USD 48.35 pb

KUWAIT, March 24 (KUNA) -- Price of Kuwait's crude oil was up by USD 0.55 on Monday to USD 48.35 per barrel, compared to USD 47.80 pb on Friday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said here on Tuesday.
On the global market, oil prices rose yesterday boosted by weaker USD, which dispelled fears of oversupply.
US crude futures settled 88 cents up on Monday at USD 47.45 pb, a 1.9 percent climb. The price of Brent was up 60 cents to settle at USD 55.92 pb. (end) osj.nfa.msa
