RIYADH, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani extended congratulations Tuesday to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Kuwaiti government and people on Kuwait's 54th National Day and the 24th Liberation Day.
GCC peoples take a great pride in this fond occasion, expressing their love and good sentiment to the leadership and people of Kuwait, and affirming the existence of deep and close ties among Gulf people, who are joined together by kinship ties, joint history, and one fate, Al-Zayani stated to KUNA.
Al-Zayani also praised efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti leadership, headed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in accelerating the development wheel and facilitating all possibilities to attain the aspirations of the Kuwaiti people for further progress and prosperity in the country.
He also expressed his pride in Kuwait's efforts in enhancing the march of joint Gulf action, as well as its constant efforts in boosting security and stability in GCC countries, and enabling them to face obstacles and attain the aspirations of their people for further progress and prosperity.
