EU urges all parties to show restraint in Egypt

BRUSSELS, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- EU High Representative Federica Mogherini has called on all parties in Egypt to show restraint following violence during protests on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Egyptian revolution yesterday.
"Freedom of peaceful demonstration must be safeguarded and dialogue is the only way forward," she said in a statement here today.
"I extend my condolences to the families of those killed," she added. (end) nk.tg
