KUWAIT, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel rose by 89 cents on Friday, reaching USD 41.51, compared to 40.62 per barrel on Thursday, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.
The death of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz had an impact on the international oil markets, as the prices of Brent crude oil's contracts rose by 27 cents in London Stock Exchange, reaching USD 48.79 pb.
Meanwhile, the price of American crude oil dropped 72 cents upon settlement in New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), reaching USD 45.59 pb.(end) asj.tb.ag
