KUWAIT, Dec 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a letter of appreciation, on Monday, for patronizing the recently held conference on the role of women in charity events.
The thank-you letter was delivered by Chairman of the International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) and Amiri Diwan advisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Maatouq, and participants in the event.
In his letter, Dr. Al-Maatouq, who is also UN Secretary General's Representative for Humanitarian Affairs, expressed honor at His Highness the Amir's participation in the opening ceremony which reflected the latter's support for all humanitarian events and activities. (end) nfm
