MANAMA, Dec 10 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa affirmed Wednesday exceptional relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, which enjoy a long history and sincere sentiments between the two countries' peoples.
According to a statement by the Bahraini cabinet, Prince Khalifa made his remarks during talks with visiting Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, of Kuwait, adding that the relationship between the two countries has been deep-rooted, thanks to keenness of both countries to develop and strengthen ties in all fields.
Prince Khalifa welcomed the visit by Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah, noting that the visit is the living embodiment of the deep fraternal relations between the two countries.
The Bahraini premier stressed that the Kingdom relations with Kuwait comes as a great bright gulf model on relations.
Prince Khalifa also expressed appreciation for support the kingdom's receives from Kuwait leadership and government in various fields.
For his part, Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah expressed gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Kingdom.
Later, Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah left the country and was seen off by the Bahraini premier and Kuwait's embassy senior officials. (end) mge.mb
