Benghazi's casualties jump to 10 deaths, 8 injuries -- medial sources

TRIPOLI, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- Casualties in the Benghazi city clashes east of Libya have increased to 10 deaths and eight injuries, said medical sources here Wednesday.
The medical sources told KUNA that the ongoing clashes between forces loyal to Libyan retired Gen. Khalifa Haftar and Islamist gunmen downtown Benghazi continued with no sign of halting.
The recent hike in casualties was due to a mortar shell which fell on a heavily-populated neighborhood in Benghazi city, said the sources. (end) nam.gta
