British national among 5 killed in Kabul suicide attack

ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- A British national was among five people killed when a suicide bomber rammed his explosives-packed car into a British embassy vehicle in Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday, according to an official statement.
Afghan Ministry of Interior in a statement confirmed that five people including one British citizen were killed and 37 people including five children were wounded.
The spokesman for Taliban rebels, Zabihullah Mujahid has claimed the responsibility of the deadly attack, saying that the attacker targeted a British Embassy's vehicle, killing and wounding several foreigners, media reported.
General Ayoub Salangi, the spokesman of Ministry of Interior confirming the attack said that it took place near Pul-e-Charkhi road close to Qabalbai locality in Kabul, adding that the suicide bomber rammed his motorbike into the British Embassy vehicle. (pickup previous) sbk.mt
