KUWAIT, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- A delegation of the Kuwaiti-Iranian Friendship Association is scheduled to travel to Iran, on Saturday, for talks with counterpart officials there.
Adnan Al-Rashed, the association secretary general, told KUNA on Friday that tomorrow's visit would be paid following His Highness the Amir's visit to Tehran in June; a mission that bolstered "confidence and political action between the two countries on bilateral and regional issues, in particular." Commenting further on the planned visit, he said such visits at the grass-root level serve to boost "the bonds of friendship and cooperation with the Iranian people." (end) fz.rk
