ISIL claim responsibility for Irbil bomb attack

IRBIL, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for a suicide car bomb explosion which targeted a building in Irbil province in northern Iraq last night, killing and injuring dozens.
ISIL's Kirkuk's Media Office said in a statement that their security units from Kirkuk State were able to penetrate security barriers and reach the intended target and detonate explosives, in reference to the suicide bombing in front of the building.
Last night, a car bomb exploded in the afternoon in front of a governorate building, killing five Iraqis, including three policemen and wounding 29 others.
The suicide attack targeted a meeting which was held to discuss ways to combat ISIL. (end) sbr.mb
