Kuwait raises fees, salaries for Filipino schools

KUWAIT, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- The Minister of Education and Higher Education Bader Al-Essa announced raising fees in schools with Filipino curriculums and also raise salaries for employees at these schools.
The Ministry of Education said in a statement on Thursday that the fees for elementary schools will be KD 516, the intermediate is KD 568, KD 590 for high schools and a maximum of KD 492 for kindergarten, for the term of 2014-2015.
Meanwhile, the salaries of kindergarten teachers will be KD 200, elementary teacher KD 250, intermediate is KD 275 and KD 300 for high school teachers, the Ministry added.(end) asa.ag
