Belgium condemns attack in Jerusalem

BRUSSELS, Nov 18 (KUNA) -- Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders, Tuesday condemned in the strongest terms the attack that took place in a synagogue in West Jerusalem this morning.
"Nothing can justify attacks on civilians and on a place of worship," he said in a statement.
Reynders expressed concern about the continuing deterioration of the situation in Jerusalem, in Israel and in the West Bank and called on all sides to make every effort to reduce tensions and break the cycle of violence. (end) nk.sd
