Libya's parliament speaker, UN envoy hold talks on national dialogue

TRIPOLI, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Libyan Parliament Speaker Ageila Saleh Eissa here Monday met with visiting United Nation Special Envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon and the delegation accompanying him.
"The meeting focused on international efforts to hold an inclusive national dialogue aimed at putting an end to the escalating conflict and restoring stability to that country," said a statement received by KUNA.
Leon, who arrived in Tobruq city earlier in the day, is leading a national dialogue between the Libya's warring parties in an attempt to stop bloodshed there.
Libya has been experiencing security chaos and political conflicts for long, leaving hundreds killed and injured across the country. (end) nam.hm
