Health Min. content with Kuwait's positive role at WHO regional event

TUNIS, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health Ali Saad Al-Obaidi on Tuesday expressed satisfaction with the role of the Kuwaiti delegation at the 61st session of the World Health Organization's Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean held in Tunisia.
It has been effective and positive on all levels, the Minister told KUNA.
The Kuwaiti health delegation has offered proposals aiming to activate the role of the WHO, the Minister said, adding that it was noticed that most participants in the session interacted well with the achievements the country has realized under His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Al-Obaidi referred to the honor by the WHO regional event of Dr. Khalid Al-Saleh head of Radiotherapy at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center (KCCC), for the fight against cancer, heart diseases and diabetes. (end) aly.msa
