13 people killed, 34 others wounded in twin blasts in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- At least 13 people were killed and 30 others injured in twin blasts on near a restaurant in northern Baghdad on Tuesday, a security source said.
Twin explosive and bomb car explosions took place at a restaurant at Al-Talbiyah neighborhood in northern Baghdad, leaving 13 Iraqis dead and 34 others, including three policemen, wounded, the source told KUNA.
The injured people were taken to nearby hospital, the source added.
Earlier in the day, a roadside bomb blast happened at Saidya neighborhood in southwest Baghdad, claiming the injury of at least three people. (end) mhg.mt
