AMMAN, Oct 15 (KUNA) -- Warplanes of the international-Arab coalition executed raids on positions and strongholds of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in northern Syrian town of Ain Al-Arab late Tuesday and early Wednesday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The raids targeted different districts in the city along with towns on the western outskirts of the contested town, located a stone's throw from the Syrian-Turkish border line, said the Observatory in a statement on Wednesday.

The Syrian Army forces advanced to new sectors of the area, while the ISIL imposed a curfew in the eastern suburbs of Deir ez-Zor city, the Observatory added.
