Interior Min. arrives in Jeddah to attend GCC meeting

(Changing dateline) JEDDAH, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Acting Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Acting Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday to attend a GCC interior ministers meeting.
Upon arrival at the King Abdulaziz International Airport, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled was welcomed by Saudi Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, Kuwait's General Consul in Jeddah Saleh Ali Al-Saqoubi and embassy staff in the Kingdom.
Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled is accompanied by a senior security delegation.
In their one-day meeting, the GCC interior ministers will have consultations on regional developments and coordinate stances on procedures to be taken. (end) nh.msa
