KSE main indexes post gains

KUWAIT, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Main indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) settled in the green zone upon closing of Wednesday's session.
The weighted index settled at 497.17, gaining 2.73 points, the price index reached 7,634.27, with a gain of 12.76 points while the KSX 15 index amounted to 1,211.37, putting on 7.55 points.
Meanwhile, number of trades reached 4,560, value of traded stocks KD 27,155,699.666 and volume of the exchanged stocks 204,183,988.
Top gainers were PAPCO, ALMUDON, HAYATCOMM, POILT AND CBK. Top losers were KSHC, NAPESCO, AJWAN, MARIN and ALMAL. Those of top volume stocks were SECH, ALMAL, ALAMAN, GPI and COAST. (end) rk
