Bahrain, Kuwait stress need for combating terrorist groups

MANAMA, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force Staff Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa stressed here on Wednesday the importance of the international coalition in the fight against terrorist groups that threaten security in the region and the need for coordination and readiness to face the growing challenges and risks.
Sheikh Khalifa said during a meeting with the dean of the diplomatic corps, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, that the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations are of a "special nature and immune from impurities".
For his part, Ambassador Azzam asserted the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Kuwait and Bahrain, thanks to the wise leaderships of the two countries. (end) mga.tg
