Yemen's Security Committee welcomes Peace and National Partnership Agreement

SANAA, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Yemen's Higher Security Committee welcomed Tuesday night the Peace and National Partnership Agreement inked by all political parties in the presence of the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Yemen Jamal Benomar.
In a press statement, the committee said that it supports that agreement based on the outcomes of the national dialogue on which all political powers agreed.
The committee stressed on the necessity of implementing accurately the terms of the agreement, urging all parties to abide by them to restore security and stability to the country. It also called on all military and security personnel to preserve facilities of the armed forces and security and back all officials, including President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi, to meet the interests of people.
The committee also called for preserving unity, stability and security of the country. (end) az.hm
