Kuwait wins silver medals at Incheon Asian Games' trap shooting

INCHEON, South Korea, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait won Sunday two silver medals at the trap shooting single and team competitions of the 17th Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea.
Shooter Fahad Al-Dhaihani won silver in the single competition, shooting 12 of 15 clay targets. The first place went to a Chinese competitor. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti team at the same discipline also won the silver medal, coming second after the Chinese team.
Speaking on the behalf of the team, Al-Dhaihani told KUNA that he and the Kuwaiti team were glad to have won the silver medals and promised to do well in future competitions.
The 17th Asian Games, also known as the ASIAD, began on September 19th with the participation of about 30,000 male and female athletes. The games will run until October 4th. (end) fs.gta
