INCHEON, South Korea, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah welcomed the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA)'s honoring of veteran Kuwaiti sportsmen Khaled Ahmad Al-Hamad and Yusuf Al-Shahin Al-Ghanim for their contribution to the sports development in Kuwait.
In statements to KUNA, Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud expressed pride of the achievement of Al-Hamad and Al-Ghanim after they were honored by the continent's biggest sports body.
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah and General of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports (PAYS) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour Al-Sabah attended honoring ceremony of Al-Hamad and Al-Ghanim in Incheon in South Korea.
Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud lauded the Al-Hamad and Al-Ghanim efforts to develop Kuwaiti sports.
He thanked the President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and all members of the council for honoring Al-Hamad and Al-Ghanim. (end)
