KUWAIT, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- Initial arrangements for listing mobile and internet provider VIVA were the focus of a meeting held today for the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) officials and brokers.
KSE Vice Chairman for Trading Affairs Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq and Director of the Trading Department Mohammad Al-Ghanem held the coordination meeting with representatives of the market 14 brokerage companies.
The meeting with the KSE officials was fruitful, as they clarified various matters expected to face the brokers over the phases of the listing process, director general of Al-Arabi Brokerage Company Maitham Al-Shakhs told KUNA.
He added that the meeting also offered answers to inquiries regarding transfers, activation of online clearance as well as educating a team to offer answers to clients' questions about the listing process.
The KSE had informed VIVA officials that the deadline for the listing is the end of the 28 December 2014 business hours.
On August 28, VIVA received approval of the Kuwait Markets Authority to be listed at the KSE official market. (end)
