Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt.-Gen. Staff Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Othman during the meeting with Australian Ambassador to Kuwait Robert Tyson
KUWAIT, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt.-Gen. Staff Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Othman on Monday held talks with Australian Ambassador to Kuwait Robert Tyson, on issues of common interest, particularly in THE military field.
They also discussed ways to enhance military cooperation between THE two countries, said A Kuwaiti army statement.
The meeting was attended by Major General Craig Orme, Australian Commander Joint Task Force, Australian military attache in Riyadh Brian Gorachomen and Deputy Chief-of-Staff for Intelligence and Security, Major General Abdulrahman Al-Hadhoud.
Later, Al-Othman met with US commander of Marine Corps Major General MacKenzie and discussed issues of common interest, mostly in the military field.
Al-Othman praised deep-rooted bilateral relations and ways to boost them between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief-of-Staff for Intelligence and Security, Major General Abdulrahman Al-Hadhoud and US delegation accompanying Major General MacKenzie. (end)
