Bahrain's Parents Care Home honors Sheikha Fariha for her voluntary efforts

MANAMA, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- Bahrain Parents Care Home honored President of the Kuwaiti Society for the Ideal Family Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in a ceremony held late Sunday, for her tremendous voluntary efforts in serving families, women, children and society.
In the ceremony that also honored other societal figures engaged in voluntary work, Honorary President Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa said in his address that these honorary awards have been given to those individuals who have left their fingerprints on providing the necessary care for the elderly.
He encouraged society members to follow suit in this pursuit of giving and caring for others.
Media figure Aisha Al-Yahya was also given an award during the ceremony for her social voluntary activities.
The ceremony was attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah and a number of Bahraini societal and official figures. (end) mga.nfm
