KUWAIT, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Regional Representative to the GCC countries Imran Riza praised on Monday, His Highness Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on his great humanitarian role.
This came during a meeting with the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on occasion of Riza's term of office ending.
For his part, Sheikh Ali Abdullah lauded the role of UNHCR and wished Riza success in his new post.
The meeting was attended by UN Higher Commissioner for Refugees Office Director in Kuwait Hanan Hamdan and Deputy Director of the Americas Department Advisor Fadhil Al-Hassan. (end) hs
