Moscow warns to retaliate against Ukraine's violations of Russian borders

MOSCOW, July 12 (KUNA) -- Russia warned Saturday it would take measures, which it did not specify, against Ukraine if Ukrainian forces continued what it considered as violations of Russian borders.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich directed a strongly-worded warning against the Ukrainian side against the cross-border shooting.
Russia, he added, reserved the right to take all legal measures to deal with the continuous violations of Russian borders by the Ukrainian forces.
Meanwhile, Interfax news agency quoted sources from the defense forces of the separatists in east Ukraine as saying they gunned down an Ukrainian Sokhoy 25 jet fighters.
They said fierce clashes were taking place between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russia separatists to control Donyatsk airport. (end) as.bs
