CAIRO, June 25 (KUNA) -- Three people were wounded when an improvised explosive device went off at Shubra Al-Khaima's subway station in Qalyubiyah Governorate on Wednesday.
Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted a security source as saying the bomb disposal experts were currently combing the station and its surroundings.
The source pointed out that another explosion took place at Abu Ghamra subway station without causing any injuries.
The source added that the bomb disposal experts also managed to deactivate a bomb placed in Hadaek Al-Qubba's subway station before it explodes.
Spokesman for the subway operator Ahmad Abdul Hadi said the three subway lines are operating as normal after the blasts.(end)
