Egyptian Bourse loses some EGP 15.2 billion during week's trading

CAIRO, June 20 (KUNA) -- Indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) shed some EGP 15.2 billion during current week's trading, bringing market capital to approximately EGP 480.7 billion, compared with EGP 495.9 billion last week with a 3.1 percent decrease.
Benchmark index EGX30 dropped 4.64 percent to end the week at 8,340 points. Small and mid-cap index EGX70 also fell 3.09 percent to close at EGP 590 points, according to the bourse weekly report released on Friday.
The broader index EGX100 decreased 3.12 percent to close at 1,037 points, while EGX20 decreased 4.97 percent to close at 10,067 points. Value of traded stocks reached EGP 18.1 billion while volume turnover amounted to 1.67 million, in 135,000 trades. (end) (One EGP = 0.143318 USD).
