KUWAIT, June 10 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received chief of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, and members of the board, for the formation of KRCS' new board of directors at Bayan Palace on Tuesday.
His Highness the Crown Prince praised efforts exerted by KRCS to help many distressed Arab and Muslim countries through hosting and setting up humanitarian projects and events.
He recalled the past achievements and endeavors of KRCS' late chief Barjas Al-Barjas that brought humanitarian relief aid to people who had fallen on unfortunate times.
KRCS' members of the board presented to His Highness the Crown Prince an encyclopedia that included all of the society's humanitarian and developmental projects.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of His Highness the Crown Prince's Diwan for Media Affairs Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Salman Al-Sabah, and Undersecretary of His Highness the Crown Prince's Diwan for Protocol Affairs Sheikh Mubarak Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah. (end)
