Sudanese pres., Qatari Amir hold talks over bilateral relations

KHARTOUM, April 2 (KUNA) -- Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and visiting Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Than held bilateral talks here Wednesday.
The state news agency (SUNA) reported that the talks have tackled efforts exerted to strengthen ties and expand cooperation between the two Arab nations.
The talks also touched upon regional and international developments of common concern, the SUNA added.
Earlier, the two leaders held a closed-door meeting upon the arrival of Sheikh Tamim.
In a press statement on the occasion of his visit to Sudan, the Qatari Amir said that the two countries are eager to continue consultations and coordination on the issues of mutual concern, top of them are the developments and the situation at the Arab and regional arenas.
He asserted that the two countries will do their best to boost bilateral relations and cooperation. (end) ahh.ibi
