KUWAIT, March 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait said Tuesday it was confident Arab leaders were capable of overcoming the "difficult circumstances" facing their countries with the major objective of honoring aspirations of the Arab people.
"We expect and hope the 25th Arab summit have positive resolutions," Foreign Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah said and noted that Kuwait Declaration would touch upon political, economic, social and development matters.
Al-Jarallah was speaking to reporters after Information Minister and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah visited the Media Center at Bayan Palace.
Al-Jarallah said the Palestinian cause was the "core" issue of the Arab countries, and emphasized that support for the Palestinian cause would not stop.
Arab Foreign Minister held a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday to discuss the peace negotiations with Israel.
"We listened to President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday about the development of the Palestinian cause," said Al-Jarallah.
He added the Arab leaders would be discussing terrorism, pushing forward economic integration, supporting Lebanon and its army as well as backing the Egyptian people.
